Installation & Design Considerations

• FOAMULAR® 150 or 250 should be used for residential and light commercial applications where floors are subject to normal loads.
• Use FOAMULAR® 400, 600, or 1000 for industrial applications where floor areas will be exposed to heavy loads.
• Utilize gravel fill to establish a stable, even base. Gravel must be thoroughly tamped before installing insulation.
• Butt insulation boards tightly together and against foundation walls or adjacent vertical insulation.
• The need for and placement of vapor retarders should be determined by the building designer.
